If you live in Jones County's River North community, there's a special ballot question paying for more than a $1 million in bonds to improve their water and sewer system.

River North is a special tax district and only the people who live there will vote on the bonds.
Of course, voters everywhere in the state can vote on Georgia's Republican presidential primary, which includes Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum and several other candidates.
And if you want to cast a vote for President Barack Obama, you can, by asking for the Democratic ballot, but President Obama is the only name on the ballot.

The first annual Car/Truck/Motorcycle Show will feature special guests from the Dukes of Hazard TV Show: Sonny Shroyer and James Best.

A Jones County man says no one was home when his burned down early Monday.

Homeowner Rudy Gray says his home at 3021 Joycliff Road burned down while he was at work.

Jones County Fire Chief Don Graham says they received a call about a house fire shortly after midnight on
...more Monday. He says they found the living room area on the backside of the house on fire. 

Graham says around 4:23 a.m. the fire rekindled in the roof of the house, and fire crews had to return to the scene.

Graham says the cause of the fire has not been determined and fire crews continue to investigate the case.
